"C4" on a wedding band?

I found my first wedding band the other day (9ct...GOLD BABY!). Next to the 375 stamp it has "C4" engraved.

What could "C4" mean on a plain gold band??

I have googled my fingers to the bone on this with no luck...any ideas??

PS...there is no 4ct diamond on it by the way!

Yes that was my first thought, but I cant find a "c" size anywhere. I think they go from F to Z for some reason.

Are you sure it's a 4,.... maybe it is a Z you are seeing,... CZ for Cubic Zirconia. :lol:

You might find it is stamped 302 or 351 somewhere

Taking a slightly more serious gear, C4 could represent a dating code.

For example, if it was made in Finland it would be 1884 and if in Sweded it would represent 1883.

Mine is stamped 375 C4, its only 22 years old.
