AGAIN adding the link was for individuals who may find it beneficial to know there is something in our legislation that may help us out with access even though we aren't require to pay for Miners Rights in NSW. It's there so no harm in using it if you want to try it on! No use going around automatically debunking it either! A lot of legislative clauses are untested & will remain so.
I really don't know what your point was going on about fossicking parks (which would constitute running a business unless done free anyway) & testing laws - Then turns out they have insurance anyway.

Billabong Blue ask you to sign an indemnity form at the office before they will let you onto the fossicking areas, pretty fair I reckon. Might not be worth the paper it's printed on but I don't think they've ever had any troubles that the owner Bill has told me about.

Yep I've had to sign similar indemnity forms for organised trips onto private property too. Also made up my own "hold harmless" form years ago which included the above clause but was never asked to sign it even though I offered to. As you say Heatho all probably not worth the paper it's printed on but if it gets you in the gate worth using/trying.
