Button ID Hebbert

Hi all, looking for help to identify this button found today, 18th Feb in Adelaide
Cant seem to find this design

It is "Hebbert & co London" on the reverse

I think its Herbert & Co .

Id guess its a livery button. This is a great site Ive used in the past for ID purposes, groups buttons by design which is really helpful.

Havent looked for yours but it might be in there. Herbert & co were a large company that made a variety of buttons inc military etc.

Ahh, yep you are right Trash, its "Herbert & co"

Found some on the net, looks to be Turkish.

Looks to be from WW1, might have been brought back by a digger from Gallipoli - who knows!

That's a nice find, always good when the markings are still visible.
This is a recent find .... Hyam & Co Oxford St ....... not button manufacturers they made/sold clothing so assume they had someone make 'branded' buttons for them (c1890's).
Always nice to find relics along with the occasional piece of gold.
