G'day Prospectors! ;) I had occasion to take the Mrs. up to Bunnings today {) Sweet little pensioner girl she is.. ]:D SHE..was after mulch and something to fill in her cute little garden by the shed... :rolleyes: I....was there to assist her with every little thing her sweetheart desired! ]:D ]:D ]:D ]:D and ..go and have a squiz at a section of Bunnings that I really haven't ever paid much attention to previously...the bit where you get all sorts of textiles and plastics and RUBBER All on rolls that you pay by the metre :Y:yeeha..how long as this been goi'n on!...hehe.AND THEN!..I headed into more familiar turf in the timber and hardware section ..looking for 9 ply...bingo they had heaps....by now I'm drooling all over the floor :D So...found the good wife...carried all the bags of mulch..a new Garden fork couple of pots of colour..and the Mrs. is in the Garden of Eden...that's when I hit her up for the plywood and the rubber !! ]:D ]:D ]:D Almost fell over when she say's..."will you need the chap to lift it on to Marquez"..my Prado's name... :p .(.Don't worry there's a perfectly good reason why he is named that!) :p Well! blow me down and tickle my nose with a feather!.."No ! No! darling...I'll be right with this lot !" I say's. and the grin on my face still lingers in the corner of my lips... upon leaving I open the door for her guide her lovingly on to her seat and peck her on the lower ear lobe! ..... ]:D {) ]:D

pick up the aluminum strips on monday for the corners and edges have all the glue and sealent

I have reopened the one we started about the trailer so as not to muck up other threads
 
I can't see anything new on our messages Ken...is that what you mean by re-opening the thread
 
Plywood and rubber........on reading that it sounded more like the makings for a 10m. x 0.5m creek sluice box.
Since (what I understand) is a total embargo on the "high banker" engine pumped miniature sluice set up, to me it is only a short progression to a decent length sluice with a diverted direct water flow.
These days, with lightweight 5"poly pipe and much improved synthetic matting (compared to the coir matting we used 50yrs. ago) a well set up sluice would be legal and money making on pennyweight ground. :cool:
