Potential fossicker here, living in the Blue Mountains but have lived in a few places in NSW. A bloke took me out to Wattle Flat some time ago and ever since I've wanted to get into relic/coin/gold hunting. I'm interested in the history of places and enjoy reading about old or abandoned localities. Am looking for an AT Pro or Gold to get started. Enjoy 4wd, camping and ham radio, detecting will add another dimension to our travels. Don't expect to get rich quick but maybe...one day...a big nugget might come my way? Me and everyone else!
I've already taken much knowledge from this forum so thought I'd better join up in case I end up with a detector!
