Born again newbie from Mt Gambier

My Name is Sheryl and I have a Minelab X-Terra 705, had it a couple years now. I love getting out in the bush and camping, so swinging a detector was just a natural progression.
Have not found any gold but keep on dreaming, one day.
Like the sayings- Swing Low & Slow. And- If in doubt, Dig it out. LOL
Looking at getting a new detector, but so many different ones out there.
Had a Minelab Gold Seekers detector 25 years ago, that's why I am a born again swinger.

Welcome to the forum and its good to see another member from the Mount!

Head up to RM Electronics in Naracoorte, they have the full range of Minelab detectors and Rob will be more than happy to chew your ear off. I have not really started detecting but have a Minelab XT17000 which is itching to get out for a run. Its too bad we are so far from the gold fields. Are you interested in panning/ sluicing at all?
