Some good gold finds there Josh, looks like your beach research is paying off. Your silver ring was much like mine, heavily encrusted, beaten up, and a pr#ck to clean. Besides using electrolysis, I also used my dremel and ultrasonic cleaner to try and make it look respectable, originally it could have been mistaken for a bit of black junk.
