Without the Safety car, it could have been a different story?
But well done to the winner - as always!

Without the safety car in the dieing laps it was packed with tension for us TV viewers listening to the fuel issue caused by the earlier safety car. Once the final safety car turned off his lights and cleared the track it was a smart tactic by McLaughlin to keep the pace slow to the last turn before hitting race speed  it paid off and he won a great race :trophy: No amount of discussion regarding possibilities of outcomes is gunna change a thing he won it fair and square :Y:

I was considerably surprised that Whincup didn't make a "Hail Mary" last-lap lunge, to try and get himself on the podium. He must be mellowing in his old age! :playful:

Its a shame his great drive will be forgoten about because of the stupidity of his team boss and team mate , you could see that weisel crap him self when murphy asked if that was planned.
I feel real sorry for the lapped cars that got held up and would normally have been out in front of the pace car .

Any of the top four deserved to win but mcglachlin was by far superior for the entire event.

Personally unless the track is fully blocked there should be no pace car within 5 laps of the finish , just flags for the effected sections.

I was always a holden man , but these days they are just shells and i back drivers instead of brands.

well I reckon I had the Quinella
picked Scotty to pull it off (but I do know its a 'Team' input that wins).
I picked Van Gissy to take it if it rained. He pulled in 2nd, coz it didn't rain.
The safety car is always a curve ball in the last few laps, but hey that's how it goes.
my Holden mates are crying their collective eyes out atm.
as they are quick to rub it in when Holden wins, 'theres no 2nd place at Bathurst' ... go to mummy for cuddles boys
