Back after a set back

Hi I am back Names Noel and I live at Glenreagh I have been detecting for some years now but lost my detector some 4 years ago in the floods so a mate and I brought a CTX3030 each to get the hang of them we worked the beaches around Woolgoolga and Coffs Harbour. I have all the gold mines in our area on GPS ( and there is a lot)and love getting out and locating them I am in the RFS and at time's we come on too very interesting area's and I take note and return to check it out how ever it's mostly alluvial we do find old bit's of tools and coins so we pan the creeks so I am hoping to go feather afield to detect nuggets one day. I do like this forum I get a lot out of it.

Welcome back to the fold. Sounds like your RFS job is perfect for scouting locations. I have been tossing up heading up to Coffs for a bit of highbanking action. Trouble is finding somewhere to go, a bit of local knowledge is worth a LOT, and I don't have any from up that way.

I too have found this forum very informative, I am sure you'll find a lot of assistance here as everyone is very friendly and we all share the same gold fever.

Hi All thanks for your welcome if any one comes this way I am to happy to show you some good sites that you will not find on your own in hard rock creeks beds detecting and panning the gold is found in cracks of the rocks after large rain. I am hopping to get out there in the next week or two now the weather as settle down, Were I am going the forestry as been logging so the road should be OK to get in now. Will let you know how I went
