I've been looking for a bone conduction head set for 12 months or so and could not find one or one that was affordable.
The Shokz and Baylou units I bought had way too much delay and didn't support the APTX low latency.

Based on info here and on other forums I bought a Avantalk Lingo headset.

They are not bone conduction but have a small speaker that sits outside your ear canal. You can still hear whats going on around you which is what I wanted, also cooler than headphones when its hot.

I gave them a test out today paired to my Vanquish 540.

Pairing was easy enough though it seemed to pair faster if I held the detector control box closer to the head set.
They work fine with no noticeable delay.

The only minor issue is if you cycle the detectors power every now and again to re-balance then you have to wait a few moments for the BT to re-connect. However I think this would be the case no matter what headset you used.

They have a microphone stalk that you can just flip back out of the way.

Cost was $77 delivered from Amazon Au with a 2 year warranty.
