I'll go with Harry Southwell Steve but cannot find where he in now as they do not say where or when he was buried. Born in Cardiff Wales in 1882.

The film was financed by West Australian businessmen and shot in that state atErlistoun Station,Lavertonand Perth.
Southwell claimed at the time he had a contract to make six films for distribution in Britain.
It was the first and only production of Anglo-Australian Films.
