Heatho, gave up 9 months ago, little to late for me i`m afraid, coughed bad for good on 12 years and did`nt stop when i should have, i`ve reached a point of , it`s as good as it`s going to get, and that`s no bloody good, they reckon they will be able to 3D PRINT new organs within 10 years, hopefully much sooner than that.

If you're still not feeling any good you may have a chronic lung infection, I did and since getting rid of it I feel pretty good. I've got bad emphysema (COPD) and had a lung abscess 6 months ago and the chronic infection simultaneously, I needed 6 weeks on antibiotics to get over it. I now feel better than I have for 20 years, hardly cough anymore and rarely cough crap up.

I'd maybe get it checked out further mate.

I seen your topic ironrock about overgrown goldfields in VIC.
I couldn't help myself but show you boys the terrain i prospect in. The more its overgrown the better i reckon, who wants to detect in this *****? no one, so i have a better chance of finding a good size nugget. Well one day maybe :D

Now that's what you call overgrown SC75. You've got your work cut out for ya buddy, good luck on finding your big nugget ;)
Thanks mate. Hard work dedication haha its tough going out there for sure, but i enjoy being in the bush.

My 15gm nugget came from ground that has been worked very well, and while I havent found any more since then, I know plenty of others who are always getting gold from so called flogged ground.
It just means you have to work harder and smarter. Move smaller dead trees that are laying on the ground and detect under them. Most people are too lazy and will detect around them. I will walk through loads of ferns and small bushes because others couldnt be bothered.

I was detecting here 4 weeks ago -

Heatho, have booked with the doctor, and will be looking into it further, last time i saw him we discussed a CT scan, he reckons that should shed some light on what`s really going on!!
Steelpat, the only thing that`s got me wondering about that pic is, can you even swing the detector in amongst those ferns, that`s the one problem that must be overcome in ground like that, if the detector cant move enough, then it probably cant detect anything either,as they are a motion unit are they not?

Geeze you need ya Snake proofs on in there,

john

You just have to go slow and low. All the foliage is about 1 - 2 ft off the ground so you just move the coil in and around the stems. Most people avoid it - gives me a chance of finding stuff. A bit different after a burn off though lol. People will be queued up waiting for the flames to die down lol.

That's good, I think you need the CT scan also, I had one and it showed the abscess (size of a Mandarin) plus all the other damage from 25 years of smoking, was a real shock to see all the damage. I still need another one in a few weeks to check the progress, the damage can't be undone but hopefully it's halted.

Hope you get on top of it mate, it's worth checking as if it is a chronic infection you'll feel better after treatment for sure.
