The world's largest memorial to returned service men and women turns 100 today :clap: :clap: :trophy: this is a great read. People are suggesting the Great Ocean Road should be renamed ANZAC Highway which I whole heartedly agree with :Y: but not so the Victorian state government or Vicroads :N: ]

A few of us were discussing this topic last weekend when it appeared in the news. Seems many people over this side even think that ANZAC Hwy would be a great title & tribute :Y:

We have an Anzac Highway, it runs from Glenelg to the city of Adelaide, but I have absolutely no objection to a change for the GOR to Anzac Highway.

Awesome road to ride, but as parts of the road are, I think its set in stone that it will always be GOR
ANZAC Highway in my opinion would be a much better and more respectful name
