anyone know what this metal could be

I found a patch of this stuff metal detecting in the sea beach
looks live the color of silver NOT LEAD weighs less than gold about half just as a stab
never came across this before located above cairns using my 2300
non magnetic screams thru the 2300
any help would be appreciated

Bit of an odd one there, was thinking ironstone but then read non magnetic.

Have you filed, scraped or broken one to see inside?

tin sounds like a possibility it is a lot harder than lead and gold you cannot bite it, my thoughts it could be aluminum been burnt and melted in the bush maybe by the road side then washed into the ocean through steams , I will be going up to the panning championships in mereba , the locals may know

To me it also looks like aluminium, maybe pewter.
