too cold for an icecream bud

take a printout of a map with you and old gold bearing locations marked

it doesnt hurt to research spots and look for places where you can get access and plan a whole day or two to go back there and give the sluice a gallop

I'll keep an eye out Casper.
We'll be in Mrs Ag's pocket rocket(white Daihatsu YRV).
Just visiting in laws & staying on sealed or well maintained gravel roads.
Hoping in the next 3 weeks I'll be able to find a free day to go for a dig with Tom in them there hills

Sounds like a good plan agman. I've just found an old map with all the claims and gullys on it so I over Kate's it on google earth so now it's time to do some serious test holes haha

Hi Marty,

I didn't make it down to the 'Creek' - got up t' "water the horses" at 4am and stepped into a puddle of water on the dunny floor

As yo can imagine that woke me upright up 8) and having to rectify the cause of said leak kept me busy for the whole day and all 'cos the missus didn't want to step over the puddle - i was cool with it (I had other things planned to do that day didn't I - well I thought I did )

You being in Morwell, I'd be having a sniff around Rintoul Creek.
I just had a quick Google & there's a couple of references to gold there.
Might be worth a scout around.
