I'm Matt. I've been into prospecting for a long time, now but have never actually been.
Lived in Kalgoorlie for ten years and spent most of my time camping on top of gold, most likely.
Worked on a large station in the Pilbara and never looked for gold.
Ironically, after getting bitten by the gold-bug and doing a lot of research, laying maps over maps, etc,
the station that I left on not-the-best-terms was pin-pointed as a definite place to check out as an amatuer,
as it ticked all of the boxes and convinced me that surely even I could find something there!
Oh, well. Can't hurt to make the call.
Now to find a 3500 within my six-dollar budget. Maybe I'll sell the ute and walk there.
Oh, and I live closish to Perth.
