A comparison to a std sized hotwheels car! This thing is fair big. Also the truck trailer fits one of my sons newer trucks so hes stoked. Didnt realise it has a bit of age too 1981.

Nice finds.

Just a question. Is there any reason why your using the
6" coil? Looking forward to your answer.

Thank you

Honestly it was the only one I could afford in the 3kh/z range at the time. I have a 10.5"DD 18.75kh/z aswell but just cant convince myself to swap coils over.

Lesne toy cars in any condition command a good price restortion guys will buy for like 50 bucks even if it needs an overhaul as long as the body is square and the interior is intact everything else these guys fix and get like 200 bucks for them

Not my cup of tea .... but I have seen a few go to auction online and its a crazy genre the kind of cash that flows around it

Cheers for the heads up mate, but i honestly have to say the look on my sons face when i gave it to him was worth it more than selling it :) Think this is the 2nd or 3rd Lensey ive found, all trashed :(

something to get excited about when your over 1 and 2c pieces haha

nothing more valuable than a happy son.... an investment to the bond ;)

lol yeah he puts in his requests before I go, usually wants me to find a mustang car, or a hotrod....lol.

Not wrong about the brown buggers, luckily they've been at a minimum my last few hunts

yup most my hunting is on 1800s research so not a BB in sight ....or a shop....or a servo....or a pub :(

packed lunches full camelback and an eagerness to find that bushrangers loot from the payroll heist.

haven't hit it yet but I know its only hectares away from in my hands lol ( 20,000 pounds in note rolls and 3,000 sovereigns scheduled for smelt )

8 months research invested

Geepers, you certainly cleaned up on the old 10c pieces, still, it's a good feeling to come up with so many coins from the one trip. :)

Saw a potential new spot on maps and thought id give it a shot after work before the rain sets in over the next few days.
Was about a 50km drive. Looked prime when I arrived. Unfortunately the weeds were up to 30cm in some spots making it hard to swing low.
Well it was the worst swing ever! Must be soil conditions but all junk (pulltabs, beaver tails and pullrings) were giving pretty solid copper/silver signals and my pin pointer was going off its nut, having a hell of a time even finding targets in the spoil out of the hole. So LOTS of junk dug.
32c 1944 roo penny (Perth Minted) and 1900 one shilling.

Went out to the same spot again yesterday....no good found a whopping 21c :( again lots of trash ringing up in the "good" range. Ahwell time to start looking for a new spot.

Yesterdays swing, first spot 170km away was a waste of time so backtracked to some spots i noted on the way. Luckily they paid up a little so not a complete waste of time. First swing in a while with no pres!
