Aluminium Multifold Ladders

Has any one got one of these type from the BGS

I'd like to know what the height of the platform is in the illustrated position, looking for something like that to reach the camper roof and solar panels for cleaning

Ladder is 3.6 fully extended so as a step would be just under half that.
Old farts and ladders don't mix btw.

Just remember xcvator that the ladder weighs 10kg and takes up a fair bit of room. I know when we take out the camper trailer we have to watch how much gear we pack in.

Thanks guys, I'm not taking it any where, just to use at home. Ive got ladders that reach ok but thought that one of these set up as a work platform might be better, just as it's shown in the link :Y: :Y:

The rungs are hard to walk/stand on for even for a short time, I have put a piece of yellow tongue flooring with a couple of cleats screwed on it (to prevent slippage), on the top when used this way. Height is about 1050mm high. And if you do put the flooring on top make sure there is no overhang on the ladder rungs. Ken.

Thank you, I don't think these will be high enough 8.( I'm a bit of a short arse so I just measured it and I'll need it to be about 1200/1300 high minimum.

I have one of these ladders and have used it in various configurations but I have not used it in that particular configuration yet. They are decent enough ladders, I'd buy another one if needed.

Maybe have a look at these

Extended to 2.6m picked it up at a camping show $100.

And folded

I put door stops at the top to go against the duco, feel safe and can get to the solar panel and roof rack
