Any good places around adelong to detect. Its the only place i get enough time to visit

One place you could try is the old Chinese diggings they are up past the wondgla bridge
find the scout camp at tokins bridge...
Hope you find some...
Ps it's also good for panning...
We dredged that part of the creek in the 70s for great gold....

That's the place I was thinking. I'm thinking of buying a whites gmt as my first detector as I think anything I find there would be small.
