Old lead spitfire, Ashtray job I think.

Pretty awesome finds there cheese, those last 2 would be great to find out the history on, well done.

I have a couple of pennies and half pennies from my yard. Really should go over it properly. Double block in an old area. I have found concrete slabs on both sides of the yard when gardening. I'm thinking there was 2 houses here before. Need to check that out.

A copy and past of the car.
It is made by Dinky toys (mecanno)
1936 and 1940 and the racing car based on an MG Magnette complete with silencer and boat tail rear body work.
Nice.
I did find a hot wheels car to but left it there.

Can I come and detect your yard? :D Unfortunately my house only dates back to the 1960's, so it just brown buggars for me. :(

Yes I got a nice find with the dinky car as it is early
1940 made.
The plane, If any links on it or what it was on please.
The back yards in Adelaide well I detected 3 backyards
all early 1900s built,
me mates in 2 would let me run the detector over there lawn
but not to dig any targets.
dam, but I also detect good signals at there place to
as there was 2 slivers and 1 copper thats still in there back yards
and certainly worth detecting any back yard if the house is built before
1940.
It took me 4 times at going over over the yard where I found the finds,
each time I got a better idea of what was under the ground.
I will be back there some time in the future as I had missed a lot
the coin sixpence, well it must have been new when lost.

This looks correct on the dinky toy car

There were so many variations of this model made from 1934 until 1956.
There were several dies and variations with each die.
First die. 1934
Cast in lead with four exhaust holes, no driver, no racing number, Tootsietoys hubs.
Same as above but with racing number.
Same as above but with driver and a raised circle around the racing number, blue, red or green tyres.
Second die.
Cast in zamac with six cylinder exhaust, chrome plated smooth hubs.
Same as above but in Homburg finish in several colours. Thats the one with stripes.
Third die. 06 - 1952 - 1954.
As previous but without raised circle around the racing number, reinforcement inside.
