Yes RM, my Mum and Dad bought and nice Toyota Crown wagon and a 12x12 marque tent for their retirement. They left home in Brisbane and got to the coloured sands near Noosa. He died the first night at 63 years of age on Christmas Day 1972.

It looks good , but I dought you would need a low loader if the leases were cojoined , you would just dry hire one to get the dozer to the property
 
Honestly wouldn't consider it.
The age of the equipment, you'd be buying someone elses problems. Yep only a few kilo to recover your outlay, but the on going cost for diesel and maintenance and the kilos need to add up and probably quickly.

Have to wonder why he's selling, probably because of the above and not finding enough. Pretty sure I know who's selling it too.

Get yourself a "P" lease. 200acres for about $800 or so the first year then about $400 or so for every year after that. Throw a few old vans on it or build a humpy...cheap rent :Y:
