A question for the tech heads

The question is related to refreshing .
Im on an ipad. A couple of months ago i upgraded to iso 8.
I think thats where the issue started.
I keep missing posts... I read everything that i see , but later find another one . According to the time stamp it should have been there before.
Usually yellow highlight icon doesnt disappear once read either... After reading one thread i use the back arrow then select another to read . If there are a few there , the first one opened looses the highlight icon, but from there on the others remain even once they have been read.
I have to refresh each and every page every time i go back even if i select the home page
Is there a setting that i have wrong?
Ive had a look but not real sure what im looking at/for

I can confirm the following Sandta- iOS 7 iPad or iPhone example my default page is "new posts" let's say I've opened one of the new posts (competitions and giveaways) , read it and then want to refer to something else so I hit the "forum" icon the (competition and giveaways) is still showing as new/highlighted until I hit the refresh button or follow/drill down to that sub folder only to find out (now not highlighted ) and already read.

The auto refresh is not instant across the different paths to that single post, it could be a cache in the cloud with delay in replication or a code within the PA website. But yes there is definitely something to look at - for the Admin. (Minor bug)

I also use an iPad (mostly) and can confirm that pages will not update to show read unless the refresh arrow in the address bar at the top is used.
Back arrowing, or using the home icon doesn't update the viewed page, which must be a cache issue.

I regularly refresh as a result.

Try swiping the whole page back instead of using the arrows to navigate.
Whenever I do this the page does a quick refresh and the posts I've read loose the highlighting.
