Why? Chinese rip offs that don't work as claimed & don't contain the trademark software they claim to are nothing new. Been around for years & the genuine Minelab products that do work & do contain the proprietary software still hold very good used value. I wonder why?

They are fairly useless without it unless detecting completely benign ground. Even then general stability could still be an issue?

Have a look at alibaba and you can get yourself a copy of every detector on the market
I can't believe they even copy the ATX and nokta fores
These companies need to be stopped first ,so you don't get sellers on eBay selling these fakes
