As some of you know I was in the middle of getting my gear together and was just about to buy a camper, Well the Arse has dropped out of that at the moment because my mate who I was going prospecting/detecting with died around the 20th of October so I can't really be arsed with any of it now, Bless him he was only 53 and a really great Guy, he was a wizard at building PI machines and was always there when people needed help,

Where ever you are Buddy, I hope you find the Gold.

Thanks Everyone, I got thinking about this and I have been searching and getting ideas about get the camper sorted out, I am pretty sure he would approve, 2 1/2 years ago he went in hospital to have a small skin cancer removed near his ear and each time they did something he seem to have to go back coz it got worse and back in 2013 they gave 5 years but he was gone in half that time, bless him. the last time I saw him I thought something was wrong because he looked in a bad way but I thought they had been operating on him again, but that was not the case, I saw him about a week or so before he passed and then the next thing I knew was another mate mentioned it thinking that I already knew, so that was a shock At leased he is not in pain now.

Extremely sorry for your loss John.
Fellas, we need to toughen up and get a couple of things checked every year if your over 45. Skin check for any abnormalities, prostate for the same reason and a blood check just for the hell of it.
Better safe than sorry. Again John all our thoughts are with you mate.

Thanks Mackka, You are spot on with your thinking, being men we tend to tough it out and the she'll be right attitude becomes more of a shield until it's too late, I made the same mistake with my health and having chest pains and I use to just take a break and let it pass then carry on until the next time, working as a Timber cutter I saw most things as a sign of weakness and there was no way would I give in, Luckily for me I got in to the Automotive industry and ended up with my own panel and speed shop,
I have been to the Doctors and had a bit of a Tune up and I came home with a bag full of tablets and now I am doing as I am told, So I was wrong and it is best we tell our Doctors every tiny detail no matter how small because the more you tell them the better chance they have of raising your quality of life,

Take care everyone, john.

Bugga RR,...hope he got a lot into those 53 young years mate,... makes you realise why we don't waste our time at all,... body needs to keep moving and the mind needs to keep thinking on new things,... no way I(personaly) would have any type of surgery on that stuff at all, on a micro scopic scale, even a biopsy is just opening a sealed bag to the rest of the body(I know that it isn't that for everyone though), seen that with my own dad though(he told me about it some time after it was done"prostrate").I'm sorry your mate isn't there with you any more(in body) for your big adventure,... maybe he knows where all the gold is now though(my dad used to say that after death"all will be revealed"). :)
Thinking of you.

You are right about that, keeping the mind and body going is a big part of it, I always wonder why they cut these things up when they know if it leaks it will spread, I can't believe the suffering my mate went through and how they changed his appearance, Even with that he was still building his PI machines, lol and he thought it was great that when he was in hospital that he got Free internet So he could do his research and source parts etc,
The last time I spoke to him on Skype I took a Screen shot of him and I thought what have they done to you ??, and then the next thing I know is he had gone.
