a couple of coins and some other bits

out with a mate today putting up with the heat and the flies but were rewarded with these treasures. a 1916 penny and a 1940 sixpence plus the other stuff. the lead square has me confused [not that that takes much] it has nothing in the middle and just a pattern around the edge. the large round bit on the left looks like part of an old watch and the other round bit is the back of a brooch, and a couple of buckles. all in all a good day.

A penny in that condition probably means soil is not too damaging
