Looks great Dougy.
We all look forward to the invite to the barby when it's all finished and we can stand around sipping on a beer admiring your handy work. :Y:

LOL at Silver Bugger, I missed a few.
Hopefully have it done before the torrent hits DrDuck. I only
have a bit to go and already have the crusher dust laid out so
a bit of water won't hurt it.
Thanks Dignit. I am thinking of a get together down this way.

Patrick and Company, You will be most welcome.
Definitely fire the Barby up. :Y: :Y: :Y:

Mate, we will be over next April to inspect and maybe give approval of this endeavor.

Jarvis Bay sand is a good filler, if you mix a little cement into the layer the pavers sit on and tamp it down the pavers will follow the contour and sit quite well, draining any surface finish away from the base of your dwelling is a Building Code of Australia requirement , to promote the reasonable and stable moisture content of the foundation material supporting the dwelling , clay is the worst and is likely to react with the variance in moisture content, I see a lot of paving jobs that look like Jarvis Bay on a windy day after a few years of service,, I reckon the barby and beer should be construction requirements, not when the jobs finished, beer and sanger's on the finished job mmmm herbs , another river cottage how about a herb party

I have 18 feet of pure beach sand that the whole house sits on before the water table. :) :)
I gaped it a bit to allow drainage. :D
And yes, It is a very high requirement for the usage of a Barby and allows the consumption
of beverages and such business.

Finally got the rest of them down.
A bit of a tidy up and adjustments then lock em down.
THe area is 4.5 long by 3 meters wide.
Along the fence is going the raised Garden Bed.
As I said before, Edible Fodder is going in it. Like stuff
you can casually reach over and pick to use on the Barby.
Strawberrys and such to enjoy. We do not get frost's here.
