Continuing the all-Aussie theme this morning comes this attractive Hartz Range zircon, cut in a round brilliant.
It was more camera-shy and more difficult to photograph than the garnet - to the eye, the colour is light pink. Cut in a low-cut round brilliant, the stone weighs in at slightly over 4 carats (4.04) and is a very lively stone as zircons tend to be, with some amount of dispersion (rainbow-coloured flashes, the effect seen in a faceted diamond) showing even with the low crown. Stone measure approximately 10mm across.
Asking $330. Price is negotiable. Cheers
