I detected over and over then today the hobby pin, right near the other 2 pins I found.
 
So myer was jeweller who created the badge, maybe for a jewellery hobbiest group they had?
 
i agree that cheese here is hitting some premo locations. and the proof is in the pudding.

I do like the silver pin and it dates to around 1912, People seem to have lost stuff every where over time amazing.
3 pins posted were found opposite the old school, here,
One old chap about 90 no out, came over and I showed him my pin finds then he said about the old oval there
but he did not identify any items, he went to school there but he was some what help full on info.
The Myers pin is hard to find info on, I think it might date to near 1960s.

Soon I hope the museum in Adelaide will contact me.
I love History and I emailed the Museum with detail map on some other finds I have found,
They are the Muscat ball finds that I have not posted on this web.

It is in the hands of the experts at the moment.
They have not returned my email as yet, there pondering the implications for history around 1850,
If I am correct.
Before I post any info on that matter I will have to wait for and see what the experts say.

Todays hunt.
I detected the 1934 penny on a patch hunt,
then the rest
1942 three pence.
1946 sixer.
1921 hal penny.
another 1942 half penny.
1919 penny.
1911 penny.
and some old copper studs,
tells me I am in the area for old finds I hope.
 
cheese... you da cheese! the coins you are finding are in lovely crisp, sharp condition. a good area you have

Todays quick detect over the same spot and
bingo a florin 1947.
1945 penny, and a very clean coin, a 1952 threepence
and that round thing, some think to do with golf.
