I purchased this HD skid plate off a fellow who is making these in Cooktown. They are much thicker then the genuine one, very slick on the ground and fit like a glove. I will field test this skid plate over the xmas break and see how it goes. They are not much more price than the genuine plate. If any one is interested PM me and I will give you his contact number.
