Keeping up with Solid Luck in the small gold stakes .....
troubled the scales for a not so whopping 0.09gm. The chunkier bit smashed out of quartz.
And what may have been a ring but more likely piece of old mining machinery, gave it a scratch the ring part is brass or copper but the raised bit it ferrous (iron?).
