Get Snakeprotex gaiters. Google them. I'm ***** scared of snakes too and bought a pair of Snakeprotex and always wear them when detecting even in winter. Also wear ankle length leather boots and feel a lot more relaxed and confident in them.
i took my newly acquired GPZ 7000 for a (getting acquainted) swing somewhere around Coolgardie. what a machine, it was such a joy to use.
it warbled sweetly to me and this little nugget is the result. sadly the swing was all too short.
a .84 gram Coolgardie gold, this picture also shows my two favourite colours. ickshovel:
So told my mother last night i was up to 27 pieces of gold. She tells me that I better find another bit soon as 27 is supposedly bad luck according to the chinese. Thanks a bloody lot I thought lol
Today was a high pressure day but thankfully number 28 came along and saved my bacon.
Went for a bit of a swing down around Quinns below Meekatharra today and picked up these 3 nugs. Might go back tomorrow.
Mr Stone may have had a bad day when he drew up this map. oop: If i had a few more beers the map might start to make sense. Most of the area is under tenement so had to go north east into the pending areas.
How many nuggs in how many day's, your really championing Minelab Gold now :Y: good work MG will be smiling from ear to ear if he has a look at your history :Y: top effort.
Well only snuck in an hour yesterday. Stupid birthday tea ruining my detecting time. Dug a hole to china for a bloody 1 cent piece dam it. No gold sadly.
Anyway got my belated birthday nugget today. And tried out my new scales as well. Weighed in at 3.11 grams which smoked my p.b. of 1.57
Went back to Quinns yesterday and got another 7 pierces for 2.3 gms (forgot to get photo) and then again today as below.
Another 7 pieces today on the scales with a specie above the scales showing gold in several places and that lump of quartz that set both the SDC & Zed off.
After a few hits with the hammer this little slither showed itself, probably about .1 - .2 gram. :8
