Hey any gold is good gold, regardless of size....the big ones are easy to hear, the small ones are not. The important thing is to keep on truckin and never give up., cause your day is coming cause you want big nuggs. Congrats to your finds. :D

Well, here is my first attempt - nothing to write about really, but I guess I am working out the different sounds of my SDC2300. The 2c is a 1966...might be worth....2c

Hey NeoGeo very nice
What was the total weight :)
Hey dam it,
Small! The Parrot went .61 and the other tacker went .12
We just like the shape of the bigger one :) The tiny on was on the surface in a Quartz spew up hill from the Parrot. No digging required ;)
Mate thats HUGE compared to mine so far this year  :D

Too right AW, just gotta stick at it and yes I am looking forward to pinging a proper "serious" nugget. I think I read somewhere that the old timers only regarded pieces of gold over 2oz to be classed as nuggets  ?

Nice nugget the parrot NG. Well done again mate. :)
Thanks mate, I got these a little closer to home. Under a loupe the parrot looks though it might have a couple of gold crystals on it which would be awesome. Regardless, it's a cool looking piece and we are happy to have it in the collection :D

Yep aussie farmer that's pretty well right ....It was down in a pile beside a water channel so I thought it was probably a lump of steel but you never know ...least I found a little .26 for the day so not empty handed !!

That darker, rougher piece in the right hand bottom corner is quite thick, but it must be very porous. It actually sounded fainter than the three small pieces along the bottom edge of the pic. I almost lost it once it was out of the ground, it was that quite in the scoop. I've had other rough ones do similar before but never so quite as that one. Very interesting. it would have been very easy to swing over it, and others like it, and not pick up a signal i reckon. Just luck i heard something that sounded a little different. :)

No sdc envy for me !!!

just got a coiltek elite 11 for the 4500 and this is the result , gonna take a long time to pay it off with bits this size ! Total of .55 with the smallest at .05 , really sharp signal though , when you get a target you know .... lots of lead shot too
thanks, Brett
