This my biggest nugget to date. (It's a nugget to me).

. I found it on top of some bed rock in a little crevice. And the other gold found underneath it. arty:

Results of a couple hours panning today, about 5 or 6 pans. Got nothing in the first one but after that started getting a bit.

Nice gold panning... any gold found in SA is good gold!

Without giving the game away, are you panning on private land or one of the three allowed areas?
I used to pan up around gawler before the ranger made it plain it wasn't allowed. (ouch)

One of the 3 areas, actually all 3 areas but I've been going out once or twice a week for the last 3 years. SA has some strange laws, they need to open up new areas but that could result in people having fun, can't have that!

A nice little sample of Golden Spear Mine gold found panning with Brother the other day. Carol had a blast. Thank you Brother for the expert help and crackin conversation. Your sucker bottle is with Andrew and have a couple of beers on us.

Found anouther good crevice and a small nugget aswell.

Went up stream for 8 km above a water fall. No sign that anyone has been here for a long time. No old timmers diggings etc. Spent most of the walking in and out as there is no other acess besides walking in. So i didnt much time panning. But was rewarded with some nice gold.
