I decided to wait for the new Garrett Ace machines to come out, but in the meantime: I love gumtree. Picked up a Coinmaster 6000Di series 2 for $70 Original Box manual etc and a huge array of old goldfield maps.

Its funny how education can change your decisions. (which is why I joined) I have decided to put off buying something old or something cheap from ebay, and will put aside some $$ and get a something like a ACE 250 or Fisher F2 and a pinpointer. Decisions subject to review :P
