    Changes in Victoria's prospecting rules

We just watched the video as well, its all very confusing. Even the various government departments have no idea what is going on or what to enforce.

If you were to pay the same price for a used Makro Kruzer, Gold Monster, or Nox 800 which one would you get?

My son bought a Gold Monster and I bought the Nokta Kruzer... then we both got sick and haven't been out since.

    Which metal detector for me?

Thanks for that... however, looks like the budget has changed as I need new tires on the 4WD. So, with a budget of no more than $1400 would it be worth getting a gold monster 1000 or a nokta Kruzer. And since my son has the gold monster already is it worth getting a different VLF machine...

How much would you pay for a bull ant?

Funny thing is my son's little side business whilst at uni is catching, keeping and selling queen ants... its not as simple as that but yeah. We also design and manufacture ant nests. It's a modular system so the best can expand as the colony grows... I never thought it was a thing beyond the...

    Hi from Melton

My son, 19, recently bought himself a Minelab Goldmaster 1000. We are avid ant collectors, yes ants, and always seem to find ourselves exploring areas that seem to be good for gold also. So after a fair bit of research, lots of googling, and dusting off my old coin/relic hunter we have begun...
