    Kings 60lt big dissapointment

Not the 1st time I have heard good things about the brass monkey fridges. A mate bought one as an interim fridge about 3 or 4 years ago, and hoped it would last 1 season. So far it has not let him down. I have had about 5 fridges. 1st one I got at k mart years ago. It a was a weaco before weaco...

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

What you do get is an improvement in covering ground a lot quicker with only a very small penalty with performance over the smaller coils....if any penalty at all. With the SDC I know it increased my mates gold tally by about 90%

    Kings 60lt big dissapointment

I've got 2 Engels, both 40lt or there about. Both have old school "guess the temp" controls, both work really well. On long trips, 1 is a freezer one is a fridge. Both are noisy. 1 is a plastic body job and the other is a pretty old beat up steel one, both work just as well. Downsides. Guessing...

    NSW Mid North Coast sites

Did you ever have look around miners beach? Gold in the sand around there in the old days. I don't have any details though.

    Axiom or 4500 ?

It's not the detector that's the problem it's the flogged ground! If you fish in an area with no fish, it does not matter how good your rod, reel and fish finder is.

    Who has an arkpak?

Thanks for that mate thought I might have been doing something wrong!

    Who has an arkpak?

Anyone have one of these? Used it a bit at home, useful during blackouts. Took it out bush, and I have to say, I'm dissapointed. Hooked up to a 160w solar panel. Was at 40% when we left camp, and when we got back, late afternoon, had charged to 80%. In full sunlight for about 9 hours. Next...

    Easy arm

To be honest, I couldn't be bothered. Having worked in retail, they will most probably try and shift the blame on me, and I don't need the stress. Just put it down to tried a product, won't bother trying 3d printed crap again.

    Easy arm

Bit of an update on the easy arm. This is my personal opinion. The concept is good, and it did take away some of the weight, its redistributed. However. 3rd trip out with it, and a few problems. It is uncomfortable on the back of the arm and you need to re adjust your arm within the bracket...a...

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

90% of the time I run in HY, difficult, because that's what my ground dictates, if I find a patch, and clean it up with the zed, then 6K, I will run over it in general difficult, and occasionally flick up to normal, but as a rule, it's pretty unusable in normal on my ground, too many false targets.

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

To be fair, I really have not uses the 17 x 13 as much as I would have hoped, but, it is definitely not as quiet as my 12", and probably not much better than the standard 14. As for depth, I am yet to find a deep target with it yet, so sorry, can't really comment. I didvfilm a short video, it is...

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

I would agree that depth would be all you are giving up, but not much. What you gain is more important imo. I find the 12" nf a quieter coil, which means you might hear signals that were covered up by the 14". I have found some really good gold with the 12" including a 5.3 oz nugget and a 64...

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

I do have 2 batteries for my zed, but have never flattend one in a day. I do get fatigue from swing the zed for more than 4 or 5 hours at a time, and I bought a 6000 to help with that. I still have more confidence in my zed, I find it runs quite most of the time, and handles ground noise much...

    GPX6000 Coils, Opinions Sought

I have both the 12" and the 17x13" NF zed coils. The 12" is a great coil. The standard 14" coil from minelab is also a great coil. I got the 12" nf as a weight saver, and you really can tell the difference. It has found me a lot of gold from 5oz plus bits to tiny bits the scales can't weigh...

    GPX6000 aftermarket shaft

I just bought a clamp kit and scoop holder from try hard prospecting in WA, no cutting required. The thread did feel a bit tight winding it on, but it stops the shafts twisting. You would think minelab would have done something like this.

    Whites TDI Pro on YouTube

I had a tdi pro oz as my 1st pi machine. I never mastered it, but I really did like that machine. It was light, easy to get batteries, not tethered to the machine, internal speaker, a lot to like about it. I didn't use NF coils, I had some of those folded coils, and to be honest, at that stage...

    GPX6000 Faults/Issues

G,day, it's NTdave here, formally known as davent....2 x 11" coils were duds and replaced my wall charger the other day. Which is pretty sad considering I barely use the 6k....
