    My wife bought me the gold detector for my birthday about 4 yrs ago and I only used it once. Since there are no nuggets in New Mexico if was not much good. if you want gold around my house, you have to dry wash and pan for it.

    Big Sam yes there are rattle snakes in the ghost towns!! As long as you know they are around and don't put your hand where you cannot see, you will be OK. being aware of your surroundings is how you stay safe...

    Hi Colin Yes they are glass bottle stoppers. I enjoy finding them while digging for metal targets. I have collected a number more since I made the display. I will up size the frame at some point and add the new ones. I included a very nice purple stopper i found in a ghost town. Thanks for looking
