    Sluicy GS highbankers?

I used a 17 for around 9 months . The only thing I changed was the gap between the grizzly bars , but it depends where your prospecting I guess. Extending a plate under the Grizzlies for a few inches to create a smaller drop out zone will help with clearing the riffles out too , for an entry...

My highbanker, should this be just flat bottom under the Grizzlies?

My banker has got a floating grizzly section that runs the entire length of the hopper with roughly 1 inch drop out zone , so any material or water that is put into the hopper is all relocated to a smaller drop out zone thus providing better flow to clean out the sluice . Running your hopper...

    Sluicy GS17 Highbanker + extras

Hi all , I'm looking at selling my Sluicey GS17 Highbanker. I have been using the unit for about 7-8months with good solid results. It has minor cosmetic scratches but no major dents or bends. The unit works exactly the same as the day I purchased it from Sluicey in Benalla. I have upgraded the...

Cheers guys , the Grizzlies are only welded at one end so you can bend the bars to clear the rock jams, I have been thinking about making them longer as it would help with cleaning the material better I think. Thanks for the input, it's much appreciated . Thanks

    Sluicy GS21 information and questions

Been thinking about upgrading my highbanker to one of these but I'm in two minds as if i really need too . Has anybody used or seen one of these in the field? Is the "turbulence" created in the hopper really going to be a massive difference compared to a set of spraybars?. Any help will be...

    Sluicy GS highbankers?

I run a sluicy GS17 and have been using it every weekend for the last 7-8 months. The only thing I've changed was the grizzly bars as the area I'm working is primarily flour gold so therefore I had no need for the bigger gaps. I've been looking at possibly upgrading to a large model so I can...

Woodshed valley - chemicals in the river.

Anything downstream of the falls is ok to my knowledge . It's due to open on Saturday again anyway if the media is reporting correctly . The rain we have had today shouldn't make any difference to the run off etc .

Mountain goat trommel / Spiral wheel questions.

Cheers for the heads up on the M.G and wheel . I'm lucky enough to have been put on to a mountain goat and wheel for around half the price of what it would be brand new. Most of the local yellow is flour gold so I accept the fact that I may have to run the cons 2-3 times to get " most" of it...

Mountain goat trommel / Spiral wheel questions.

As it currently stands I have to feed spoonfuls of already lightly panned cons into the clean up sluice ( twice atleast if there is a lot), clean that up . And finish by spooning the concentrated cons onto the Miller table . The trommel/spiral combo I'm looking at should remove the panning...
