    diy bazooka mini trap sluice

Same here. It seems like nobody sells them in australia. Can order from the usa on ebay but is getting over expensive when postage is taken into account. Someone earlier in the thread was contenplating taking the plans to someone and knocking some up for pa members to buy/order, but never heard...

Today I Saw a Native Animal

Would be interesting to see a whitetail hunt another spider. whitetails dont spin webs, but they kill spiders on the prey spiders home web.

Today I Saw a Native Animal

What i have observed with redbacks is the bigger sized ones (maybee female?) Are dosile or try to hide when disturbed. The smaller/mid sozed ones (males?) Are aggressive/go nuts running around. Between redbacks and white tails i would rather the redbacks peraonally as they usually keep out of...

A new QED model is on the way

The accompanying software update sounds pretty awesome too. Actual working agb, wider gb range, a modes/delay change, gain improvements, and MAYBEE gb tracking. I'll be keen to get that done on the pl3 :Y:

    Chinese business have no shame

Barramumdi is a species of sea bass/asian perch. The word "barramumdi" is aboriginal for "large scaled fish", so barramumdi coming from vietnam is probably misleading advertising at the least. barramundi refers to asian perch caught in australian waters i'd assume technically.

    Geelong Richmond and Dangerfield

Good to see he is on the bench still at the ground anyway. The hits higher on the head can be a bit more concerning afterwards. Even from when the head hits the ground after knockout

    Geelong Richmond and Dangerfield

Wouldnt suprise me. He has heaps of haters for diving and was even threatened with murder online earlier in the season by an overly enthisiastic supporter of another club for his diving antics. Did i mention the guy is a diver for free kicks?

I guess carrying the phone is also handy to call 000 if you get bitten by a snake. The camera is handy too at times

    A simple GPS gadget

After doing a bit of reading of reviews etc. on the bushnell backtracker i have noticed an amount of people having the similar issues with those as i am experiencing with the mini gps. Hoping it works better in the bush. Otherwise am guessing i just ended up with a lemon. On the brighter side...

    A simple GPS gadget

I tried doing a calibration. It maybee seemed to help a bit. It pointed generally to the waypoint from about 200m away. As i got to more around 50m away it started pointing me in the wrong direction, but still counted down in distance of i moved closer to the waypoint and upwards if i followed...

    A simple GPS gadget

Yeah i saw it needs to be moving to work. Factored that in on first few tests. I will try calibrating it. Seems i need to activate calibrate and walk in a figure 8 for 30 seconds. It gets full 4 satelite signal and seems to work in other ways like distance from POI. Good to get a...

    A simple GPS gadget

Did you need to calibrate yours at all DD? I am having issues with mine not working properly. I mark a POI and walk 100-200ft away and the arrow keeps pointing in the direction i am walking (opposite direction to POI). I notice it says something about calibration in chinglish, but is a bit hard...

    A simple GPS gadget

Even if it lasts for a season battery wise i will feel its good value, because i didnt get lost and die! :) between now and when it lets go i will research the more expensive ones a bit. Even the more expensive ones batteries will die eventually so just have to decide if its better value to go...

    A simple GPS gadget

Wow. Thats good. They only advertise them as 10hr battery life. Means it will still last a whole day once aome battery degradation sets in. Has a 390mah battery i believe. As long as it gets me back to withong 30m of the car it should be easy to spot and be back to safety. Cant wait to get mine...

    A simple GPS gadget

I have the etrex 30x model. I just find because of the size of it i can never be bothered carrying it while detecting with all the other gear. I dont need so many features or such accuracy for use while detecting. Just need a pointer back to the car if i get lost in thick scrub mostly
