    Ivo could you give us a report on the Whites pin pointer after you have tried it out a few times as I'm thinking of getting one. I have heard that they are better than the Minelab pin pointer. And they can be used with the Minelab GPX machines, not like the Garrett pin pointers. wombat ;)

    One of the best spots to look for info is the local Historical Society. In your case Hervey Bay. They will have old maps, news paper clippings, mine reports and any other thing relating to the area. If you have not got a historical society, then your local councel. wombat ;)
