G'day all, Yesterday I found a ring with my Xterra 705. It's reading came up as a 30! However the ring says "9ct" . It weighs about 5 grams. Would anyone know why this may be??? It is the first Gold ring i have found, although the signal seems to be way off a gold ring reading. Co.

Hi. Can you possibly show a picture as an example? It's edges are not round. It's quite square if you know what I mean.
