    Old timers' grog?

They also made beer out of the horehound shrub. You can still see clumps of it around the old camp sites. They also made tea out of it.

    Phase Technical Videos

Thanks for that info Nenad. I know what you mean about hot clay and charcoal! They both sound like deep targets at first. Some say switch it to difficult, and if the signal disappears, it's not a target. I try this, then dig it anyway.( Just in case! ) wiley.

    Phase Technical Videos

Hi Nenad. Some time ago you said to use. Find Patch when using a 19" Z coil, rather than go into Difficult. Would there be any advantage in running it in Extra Deep as well?

    Footwear for detecting

My first pair of magnums were the Interceptor range. They were the best boots I've ever owned. I tried to get another pair when they wore out, but they didn't make them any more. Then I found some on a online store in Melbourne. Only $60. What a bargain! When they arrived I checked them right...

    Rivers and Creeks

I was walking along a creek bed in the G.T. on Sunday, when I saw a dirt wall on the side of a gully had collapsed, exposing this wash in the side. It could be a tributary coming into the creek. It's about 5 metres wide, and the deepest part of the wash is in the centre of it. There's no...

I.D. Help. Are these old rainwater gutters?

Gutters? Cast iron? I found these when I was digging up an old galvanised water pipe that was under the driveway. they were laid upside down over the water pipe probably to protect it from heavy traffic. I've never heard of metal gutters before, but, they certainly are the same shape as gutters...
