    Try looking up the youtube series by Dan Hurd, in one of his videos (cant remember which one unfortunately) he runs through a pvc crevice sucker build with his class. Was nearly going to make one myself until deciding to go down the modified bait pump path. Cheers, TGW.

    Not plans as such but there are any number of posts on the forum about diy builds for suckers. Or you can buy a bait pump and adapt it to do the same thing... Or im sure theres 1001 different pages on the internet as to how to go about it. All depends on how much time and effort you want to...

    Points for the build mate!, if only it was a hand powered pump then youd more or less be in the clear with it. But that leads to other problems like not having the third arm to work the pump constantly :lol: TGW.

    Looks to me like the start of a limestone formation from the way it seems to run in a ribbon down the face of the stone. If you have a small piece there are a few tests you can do to narrow down which mineral it is.

    Goodluck with your endeavor Steffan, sounds like youve done quite a few sums to get to this point. Though im not sure a 36inch sluice will handle 20-30 tonnes of material each (itch) :P hour?
