I'm located at Bald Hills and would like to get out one day and go on a hunt with some fellow detectorists. I've got a Garrett 350 Euroace and have been checking out some of the local parks and dry sand on the beaches. Cheers Wade

    Minelab X-Terra 305 TID's, tips, settings, questions

I've got a Garrett Ace 350 and if I hit the wet sand with the coil I always get a false signal. Works well with the sensitivity backed off all the way to about 25%. Worth a try with the 305. Cheers Wade

Garrett Euro Ace information and questions

I recently picked up a near new Ace 350 for a similar price. It seems like a great value machine. I've managed to run around on wet sand although I did have to drop the sensitivity to around 3. First time detecting

Today I managed to try out my detector for the first time. I picked up a near new Garrett Ace 350 a few days ago. So I visited one of the local school ovals. The oval is an extra field over the road from the main school and is also used by people walking dogs and bike riders. It's in pretty poor...

Thanks for the welcome Mick. My folks live up at Wattle Camp about 20 mins north of Nanango. Heading up there over Christmas. They have a nice creek running through the back of their place so I'll have to throw the pans in the car so I can have a dig around. We have a 4wd so we might have to...

Hi All, I'm from the Northside of Brissie and have always been curious about fossicking. Until about a week ago my only previous experience was about 25 odd years ago as a young fella going out to Rubyvale & Sapphire with the folks on a holiday. I don't remember ever finding anything when we...
