    Got my hands on one today! They are quite heavy and will most certainly need the bungy. Not looking forward to swinging it in hilly or undulating ground. I hate to think how heavy a 20" or so coils will make it. I'll let you know how it is Monday night once I have mine out in the field.

    I was just thinking the same. I wonder if there will be any stalkers waiting outside the detector shops looking to follow you out bush. Once in the detecting groove a prospector is an easy target. Better sharpen my pick! ;)

    That is one of the exceptions Dughug not sure of its origin(tas maybe?). The other ring-in is the black and white agate with the red center, its from bellata NSW.

    If this was my choice I'd be drinking alone! I'd never settle for second best :P I love my Engel fridge/freezer combi, once cold they use little power if you keep them full. I'd never go back to having my stuff floating around in an icebox, but if you're only going to be out for no more than 2...

If there is and word gets round like the old days and a rush sets in, watch all the mother in-laws appear on fleebay trying to raise the capital to get one. P.S.     Thanks for the links Marty, Not going to be as easy as walking onto any old patch and pull ozs of gold. Will have to think a little first as to the areas where this unit will shine.
