    AlgoForce e1500 coil recommendations?

FWIW, I have a Detech 8 inch round for my Algoforce and find it very good. It’s very sensitive and runs smooth, plus not too heavy or expensive. I think you’ll be waiting awhile for the updated NF coils to become available. They won’t be cheap either.

    Nokta Pulse Induction Detectors

I know Nokta detectors are rugged as I’ve owned a few. my Legend has a had a pounding in all environments and not one issue or breakage. I don’t doubt when their PI finally arrives it will live up to my expectations. I’m also hoping for some cool new features in a modern lightweight Gold...

Boots for Prospecting, Hiking, Detecting information and questions

Footwear is such an individual thing, so what may suit one person perfectly could be problematic for someone else. There are so many variables with shoes and boot comfort and performance, like toe box room, heel support, instep height, arch support, inner sole padding , etc. So all these...

    Algoforce E1500 - Wet Ground

XLOOX, can you run the 12” Evo in Ultra fine gold without any issues? Edit; Just saw your post in the other Algo thread about better stability in Fine gold. This also applies to the 14x9 Evo.

Did you know this about carbon fibre shafts ?

There is a robust discussion on another forum regarding the use lower carbon fibre rods with highly sensitive VLF and PI detectors when hunting for very small gold. It appears that carbon shafts are electrically conductive and that when any movement of the shaft in relation to the coil will...

    New to Prospecting (SA)

If you're talking about this drive into the hillside at Watts, then it's easier to get to from the top of the gully...very steep going though.

NOKTA GOLD KRUZER FOR SALE. $500

The Kruzer series are waterproof to 5 metres. I used to own the Multi Kruzer and it was submerged in the ocean occasionally, no dramas. The Gold Kruzer has the same waterproof control box. https://www.noktadetectors.com/metal-detector/gold-kruzer/

    New to Prospecting (SA)

Welcome to PA Peter. Being in crow eater land, like myself, you will certainly have to travel some to get to any prospective gold ground. The only public places here in SA are Jupiter Creek and Mt Crawford, both of which are well and truly practically detected out imho. If you are lucky enough...

YES..... Nokta also just released this new machine / package. https://www.noktadetectors.com/metal-detector/triple-score-pro-pack/ Minelab definitely has real competition in this segment. And more in the gold detector segment with a new PI from Nokta coming soon, not to mention the E1500...

New to prospecting - EQ800 vs Legend?

Yes, it’s a veritable smorgasbord out there, with choices galore. As a total newbie to the fabulous world of detecting, there’s no substitute for the opportunity to see different machines in action up close and personal. If there is a detecting/ prospecting club in your area look them up, as...

    AlgoForce e1500 coil recommendations?

I noticed you’ve been awol for awhile John, welcome back. I’ve got the E1500 and so far tried the 14x9 Evo, which I think is the best all rounder for sensitivity and depth, but anything flat wound that runs on a GPX as long as it’s not too big. Coiltek Elites NF Evos Detech Ultra Sensing monos...

AlgoForce E1500 - NEW PI DETECTOR FROM EX MINELAB ENGINEER

Yes Pete, I thought the same about the handle issue... This is how I fixed mine. A thick silicon ring over wrapped with a tennis racquet grip. No more hand slipping up the handle 👌
