cut back that Citronella Geranium(left foreground) in favour of the snow peas(kept the bits to grow once they callous over where I cut them off)

and planted up some extras that were already on the go(saving time)

Ramjet, just found this topic (awesome), just moved on to 20 acres and about to begin.
Will begin reading from page 1 tonight.
Cheers bro?
Half your luck! 20 acres ! Have you got a small tractor and and other farm toys ?
I've always wanted an acreage. Preferably near a creek and gold fields. :Y:

What ratio should I mix these for seedling raising please ?https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/forum/img/member-images/2569/1561263870_img_20190623_142347.jpg
Cow poop is great for plants, but for seeds I would probably start with just the seed raising mix you have there. Once they are growing and are showing there true leafs you can carefully transer them into a larger pot or into the ground that way the weeds that come with the cow poo wont get mixed up with the little seedlings and you will have less fungal problems.

While the seeds are starting off in the seed raising mix dig the back end chunder into the bed where they will be growing and water it in. ... that way it can be starting the ground micrology into reproductive growth
pour a bit of milk around the new bed too... that'll give the bacteria a good head start. :perfect:

Cheers, GF and silver..first seeds will be razzamatazz chilli, packet says best temps 15-20 so will have to grow in pots in the sunroom.
Collected 2 Barrow loads of cow poo yesterday, tilled garden beds with a hoe but haven't added poo yet. I'm in Warwick Qld, not the best time of year for vegies outside even if I start start seeds now right?
Gotta muck out the old chook loft so will have that to add to. Should I wait for end of winter to add manures for 'ground micrology' ?
