They appear to be another copy of the 5000 but have changed the cosmetics. I reckon about 100% chance some poor B will get caught up with this. They also appear to make a lot of other nonsense as well. The long range gold and diamond detector is an absolute cracker. WTF??Diamond??

Here is the advertising blurb. Read this field tester report.It makes no sense - seems like he was testing something else, like a real detector, against this nonsense. I predict someone will get done on this - as per usual. I will keep an eye on ebay.

Theres another fake one doing the rounds too. Note the font used on the control box - straight not the curvy Minelab type.

Hopefully no members have been sucked in by the cheap price & are bidding.

p.s I offered to buy 10 off the ones above for up to $1.10 each as long as they threw in extras such as free raincoats. All of my offers were unfortunately rejected. :lol:
Reported it to eBay earlier today but no action yet!
 
Go to made-in-china.com and put in minelab as the search and you will see an amazing array of detectors that are available, also try metal detector to find even more. Do a search on anything your heart desires and you will be very surprised as to what is available ie camper trailers. It is amazing but they even have cheese and bacon sausage rolls ha ha :) ;)
