On a recent trip, absolutely loved this place. Dalbeg Station/Eight Mile Station, the waterway in the foreground is about 8 kms from the Burdekin Falls Dam, whilst the waterway moving away from me, is the Bogie River. Ironically apart travelling 2 hours to get there, is geographically directly behind Proserpine, 40 miles between the Burdekin Falls Dam and the Proserpine River head waters.
