If I was to get a sluice box and fit this into the head of it, then sat it in a still body of water, would it be a sluice or a high banker ?

keep top speed under 10 knots and the output horsepower under 5 hp and you should be ok m if you build the grizzly bar to protect the blades then you might have a jet sluice

I can imagine it now, I beg your pardon officer but this is not a high banker, for a start its not high and its not on the bank. It doesnt even have a pump. Its a "jet sluice " if that fails you can always jump on it and make a fast get away.
